Yorkshire vehicle hire firm continues Giant partnership
Yorkshire’s largest independently owned vehicle-hire firm has committed to supporting Huddersfield Giants for a XX season/year.
Arrow Self Drive has supplied the Huddersfield Giants with a VolksWagen Transporter to use as the team’s official kit van.
Arrow Self Drive is long standing partners of the Giants and are 2017 kit sponsors, as well as main sponsor of the Giants Business Club.
Founded in 1998 by business partners Chris Taylor and Robert Hill, Arrow Self Drive initially began selling commercial vehicles to local businesses from a garage in Huddersfield.
The company has since grown to become the region’s largest independently owned car, van, minibus, and truck rental company with eight depots based across Yorkshire.
Chris Taylor, co-founder of Arrow Self Drive, who also sits on the Giants board of directors, paid a visit to a training session for the Claret and Gold first-team for a photo with the Arrow Self Drive sponsored van.
Chris commented:
“The Giants and Arrow Self-Drive have had a very strong relationship for many years. We are proud to be associated with the Giants with our name emblazoned across the Giants kit van and we look forward to continuing our partnership with the club. Rugby League is a great sport and we, as a company with deep Yorkshire roots, are proud to be partners of Huddersfield Giants, the birthplace of rugby league.”
Giants Commercial Manager Brian Blacker commented:
“As a club we are very happy to continue our relationship with Arrow Self-Drive and it’s great to see that their involvement with the club continues to prosper. We have a fantastic relationship with Chris Taylor and the Arrow Self Drive team and I am excited to see the partnership grow further between us in the future.”
