Yorkshire supplier wins best stand at UK’s biggest wedding exhibition

A Yorkshire-based wedding lighting business has been named the best stand at the UK’s biggest wedding exhibition.

Cleckheaton-based Wedding Venue Lighting, formed in 1997, was presented with the award at the I Do wedding fair last Sunday 5 February.

The I Do UK Tour Leeds Wedding Show was held at the Leeds United Football Club’s Centernary Pavilion for the fifth year running. Wedding Venue Lighting beat off competition from 98 businesses who exhibited to come first for the prize.

The successful win was providing for the stand which consisted of star-cloth backdrops, dance floor and mirror photo booth, providing brides-to-be on the day with interactive fun.

Wedding Venue Lighting is owned and operated by Matt Butcher, who boasts an impressive 17 years’ experience in the lighting and entertainment industry. The company prides itself on excellent customer service, reliability, and professionalism through all aspects of their business.

Managing director and founder of the business Matt Butcher says:

“We attended the fair to showcase our range of products for new brides so we didn’t expect to win an award, it was a lovely surprise! I have to thank my team for going the extra mile to add the wow factor to a wedding or event which has helped us grow from strength-to-strength.”

Wedding Venue Lighting offers a range of products, such as festoon lanterns, dance floors and the firm has recently invested in a new rustic dancefloor and 5 foot illuminated LOVE letters.
