A Yorkshire-based wedding lighting business has been named the best stand at the UK’s biggest wedding exhibition.
Cleckheaton-based Wedding Venue Lighting, formed in 1997, was presented with the award at the I Do wedding fair last Sunday 5 February.
The I Do UK Tour Leeds Wedding Show was held at the Leeds United Football Club’s Centernary Pavilion for the fifth year running. Wedding Venue Lighting beat off competition from 98 businesses who exhibited to come first for the prize.
The successful win was providing for the stand which consisted of star-cloth backdrops, dance floor and mirror photo booth, providing brides-to-be on the day with interactive fun.
Wedding Venue Lighting is owned and operated by Matt Butcher, who boasts an impressive 17 years’ experience in the lighting and entertainment industry. The company prides itself on excellent customer service, reliability, and professionalism through all aspects of their business.

Wedding Venue Lighting offers a range of products, such as festoon lanterns, dance floors and the firm has recently invested in a new rustic dancefloor and 5 foot illuminated LOVE letters.
Wedding Venue Lighting, is owned and operated by Matt Butcher, who has over 17 years experience in the lighting and entertainment industry. Matt has run his successful company since 1997 and has many years of experience in the wedding market. WE are a full-time company supplying dance floors and lighting to the wedding, corporate event and private party industry. This experience gives the customer reliability, professionalism and reassurance that we will always be there for your event. We are Martin Light Jockey trained, in programming lighting to meet the customers requirements. All our equipment carries a P.A.T certificate (Portable appliance test certificate) and is tested annually to ensure it is safe to use and it meets the required standards. We will liaise with the customer and the venue staff to ensure the equipment is installed in the best possible position and quickest possible time to ensure your event runs smoothly.
