FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Humble Bee Farm, based near Scarborough, North Yorkshire, is delighted to announce they have been selected as a finalist in this year’s Rural Business Awards (RBAs).
The holiday cottage and glamping accommodation provider is one of five finalists in the Best Rural Tourism Business category and the winners will be announced at a glittering ceremony on 5th October.
The awards have been set up by directors and co-founders Jemma Clifford and Anna Price, with the aim of creating widespread recognition for rural businesses. The awards include 13 categories overall, which are independently judged by those with an understanding of the rural sector.
Julia Warters, owner-manager of Humble Bee Farm, said: “We are utterly thrilled at making it as a finalist in these prestigious awards.
“This is the first time we’ve entered the RBAs, so to make it as a finalist is brilliant. We would like to say a big thank you to our team and of course to our guests.
“We wish everyone who has made the shortlist the very best of luck.”
The RBAs are currently the only UK-wide programme dedicated to showcasing the success of rural businesses, which employs around 3.4m people.
Jemma Clifford said: “The Rural Business Awards, now in its third year, gives rural enterprises of all sizes the opportunity to showcase their success and the contribution they are making to our thriving rural economy. Hundreds of companies enter the RBAs each year and the finals illustrate the best businesses the countryside has to offer in each of the 13 categories. Congratulations to all of our shortlisted organisations; they are yet another reason to be proud of our outstanding rural economy.”
