West African Cuisine comes to Farringdon with Jason’s Little Kitchen

The London based West African supper club will serve up some traditional and modern dishes using organic and local produce at the Clerkenwell Kitchen located in Farringdon. It will also be partnering up with Edgmond Wines to provide customers with a taste of exclusive South African Wine.

Without having to fly 3000 miles to get a taste of West African food come and sink your taste buds and enjoy a West African feast at Jason’s Little Kitchen trademark Supper club on Saturday April 30th, from 7 – 10pm.

Happening at The Clerkenwell kitchen, the venue offers a unique space with a secluded garden terrace, which is sure to please diner’s delights. Tucked away in Clerkenwell Close, the venue features white walls and an industrial open kitchen softened by wooden floors, culinary-themed line drawings and plenty of cookery books.

A three course meal of West African food and a glass of exclusive South African wine will be served as diners embrace the sounds of African music in a bright, airy and modern space – with exposed architectural features..

Menu for the night will consist of:

Mackerel & pineapple mango sauce

Fresh mackerel served with a sweet pineapple & mango sauce

Waakye & Lamb Stew

Rice infused with black eye peas and millet leaves. Accompanied by a mouth soothing lamb stew.

Banana sorbet & Banana cake

An organic banana sorbet accompanied by A soft baked layered pound cake covered in a lovely banana glaze sure to be a delight to the end of your meal.

Don’t forget you’re free glass of 2012 Howard Booysen Cinsault red wine, which will stand up to this dish wonderfully.
