Next month it will be all eyes on screens again as the 2016 RBS Six Nations Championship commences. This annual event has a powerful draw, with thousands of tickets sold to corporate companies looking to entertain their clients. Companies face the decision of which event to invite clients to, this one or another, and the wrong choice can cost money.
An estimated £1billion is spent on official packages to major sporting and musical events each year as corporate hospitality takes a more prominent role in the sales strategy of large companies. Inviting clients to corporate events enables top executives to build relationships with their clients in a more informal and social environment.
Often the responsibility of selecting and booking hospitality packages falls on the PA’s desk. The pressure of choosing the right package for the boss to entertain their key clients can be overwhelming. With so many packages available, how can one ensure that instead of entertaining a top client in a private box overlooking the action on the pitch, that they don’t end up standing in the rain next to a white van, dispensing tomato sauce onto a sorry-looking hot dog two miles from the ground for a client with a face like thunder? Selecting the right package is indeed a minefield and it could all go horribly wrong.
Andrew Vincent, managing director of Comparehospitality.com, said the new service, which is not time consuming to use, offers corporate clients value for money in selecting hospitality events, so that they make the most of their budget.
“We recognise that people select corporate hospitality in different ways and have designed our website to allow anyone, whether they are selecting a specific event some months ahead or have a client flying in next week and need to entertain them, to quickly find the event and package that is right for them,” he said.
“Comparehospitality.com offers a one-stop solution to someone who hasn’t got the time to shop around, and we guarantee that you won’t be able to buy the same package cheaper anywhere else,” he added.
Comparehospitality.com is a new website comparing the best corporate hospitality deals available, and officially launched on January 18th. Visitors can register throughout January for a chance to win £500 worth of corporate hospitality to an event of their choice.
