LONDON: Vodafone will launch a video campaign tomorrow to promote the S8, Samsung’s new flagship phone. The video campaign will run on social and it has been produced by Vidsy, a tech start-up that helps global brands creating original mobile-first video at scale.
Alex Jackson, Vodafone’s Social Media Manager said: “'Building on our success working with Vidsy over the past year, we were thrilled to have them deliver our social content for the Samsung Galaxy S8 launch. Vidsy has a unique model which allows us to drive scalable campaigns with high quality creative – designed with social at its heart. Standing out in a cluttered social space is pivotal to launching a successful campaign; working with Vidsy is helping Vodafone UK cut through the noise and drive strong engagement with our brand.’"
Vidsy has built a collaborative video production model, supported by tech, where a millennial creator network simultaneously produces videos around a brand brief through its platform. This enabled Vodafone to produce a bank of 27 original videos targeted at a younger audience in less than a week.
The videos on Vodafone’s campaign feature millennials showcasing some of the S8 new features, such as Waterproof Technology, Retina Scanner and Infinity Display. The campaign will go live tomorrow and run mainly on Facebook for the next three weeks.
Vidsy has recently announced a the closure of a £1.3M seed round and that it has become an official Facebook Marketing Partner for Content
