FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
An online car purchasing company has been listed in the top three fastest growing northern tech companies.
The Car Buying Group, based in Wakefield and Bradford, has been listed as the third fastest growing technology business in the north of England in the Northern Tech 100 League Table. The prestigious list is compiled annually by GP Bullhound.
The Car Buying Group demonstrated impressive revenue growth throughout 2017 to achieve the third-place position. This position also places The Car Buying Group as the second highest placed e-commerce business in the Northern Tech 100 League Table. This year’s success builds on that of last year, when The Car Buying Group claimed the title of the north’s fastest growing technology business in 2017.
The Northern Tech 100 League Table has been compiled annually since forming in 2011 and is part of the events portfolio of GP Bullhound, the leading international technology investment bank. Once a year The Northern Tech 100 League table is created as part of the Northern Tech Awards to recognise the fastest growing technology companies in the north and celebrate the region’s biggest technology success stories.
The Awards provide a unique way of celebrating the innovative technologies and businesses developed in the region, and recognise those who have contributed to their success.
Established in 2014, The Car Buying Group provides a fair, fast and hassle-free way to sell a car online. Requiring only a few basic pieces of vehicle information, a car’s valuation is provided instantly to the customer searching their website. The Car Buying Group (TCBG) is the fastest growing online car purchasing website in the UK.
Established in 2014, TCBG, a trading name of Digital Automotive Solutions Ltd, was formed by young entrepreneur Tom Marley with the support of three shareholders, all of which have exceptional experience of growing and nurturing startups in the motor trade and digital arenas.

Thanks to a multi-million-pound investment from motor trade giants, the Greenhous Group in February 2016, the firm’s growth has propelled the business into larger markets and it now has a number of corporate partnerships and white label solutions.
