Thrills and spills of a Concierge

At The Organisers we have so much to look forward to this year – whether it is building on the rip-roaring success of our new development, HomeMaker, or the accomplishments of our staff division, The Organisers’ team are super excited to welcome in the new year with a bang!

Hats off to my brilliant team of hard working, creative, fantastic staff who rise to the challenge no matter how wild, wacky, wonderful or just run-of-the-mill each task is.

Some of our top moments of 2017:

Pride - The year saw us winning several awards, including Best Bespoke Concierge, Best Concierge (Corporate), Best Home Maker Service and Best Residential and Commercial Property Management company! Well done Team!

Hysteria – An emergency call came in to find a canary with particular markings and have it delivered to our international clients’ home the same day. After much tweeting and flying about, we found the canary, put it on a motorbike (yes, really!), got it to the airstrip and off by private jet to its new home. The best news? It quickly laid and hatched an egg so the client was doubly thrilled to get two for the price of one!

Stress – Hamilton tickets for six …. Need I say more apart from they loved it?

Bright lights – introducing one of our special clients, an accomplished Actress, to a number of brilliant opportunities to continue the upward trajectory of her career.

Training – flying to a particularly special Caribbean island and spending two weeks training 10 staff to bring them up to speed and meet the requirements of the new owners.

Academia – brilliant results for all our tutees this year, who have gained a terrific set of results and impressive school places. In particular, one challenged young lady who has beaten all predictions to achieve fantastic SATS results and is going on to a fab US university from September – a testament to hard work and never giving up. Well done – you know who you are!

Renewal – we have taken on some property management this year for a number of houses that have been unloved for quite a while. The Organisers special brand of tender loving care has ranged from large building projects to just making sure the lights and smoke alarms work. It was terrific to dress the homes ready for our international clients to enjoy Christmas at their London pads this year, knowing they could be secure in the knowledge that the house was finally up to standard.

Helping create Employment – we have placed a large number of housekeepers, chefs, nannies and drivers over the last twelve months, and it gives us great pleasure to play our part in what we see as a win-win situation. Ensuring our Clients are well looked after and creating employment ticks all our boxes!
