FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

75 VIP Passes (£495 for 2 tickets) are available now for #MicroBizMattersDay 3 on Friday 13th January 2017. Go to http://MicroBizMattersDay.rocks

#MicroBizMattersDay, the global day of Recognition, Action (#IGave13 minutes) and Learning (8 hours) engages with millions of micro business owners all donating time to help each other and ensure a rocking successful New Year.

Created and hosted by Enterprise Rockers’ Co-Founders, Tina Boden and Tony Robinson OBE, Friday January 13th is expected to be as crazy and inspiring as ever with some new amazing features such as the Global City Parties (thanks to International Development Partner ScanSnap - a Fujitsu company) , 8 Global Learning Hours and a 2 hour Main Event (thanks to Main Event Partner - Pimlico Plumbers) live streamed from London (thanks to Start Your Business Magazine TV and Plan Digital).

This is all thanks to #RockingSupporters, #RockingStarGuests and #RockingHeadRoadies giving their time voluntarily and promoting the day to their #MicroBizOwner customers, suppliers and members.

If you believe that micro business (0-9 employees) matters then Friday 13th January 2017 is a date for your diary, the third #MicroBizMattersDay dedicated to recognition, action and learning for micro business owners across the world. 2017 will be even bigger (it trended on twitter for 5 hours this year) and better than previous years with parties being held in different cities across the globe to celebrate so many great things the smallest of businesses do to ensure community and economic development.

Created by Tina Boden & Tony Robinson OBE, co-founders of the free, indie, informal, no contact details required Enterprise Rockers C.I.C. movement, January 13th 2017 will see the event coming live from the HQ of one of the 2 Premier Partners for this year - Pimlico Plumbers - London’s largest plumbing and service company founded by Charlie Mullins OBE in 1979.

You can show your support and share why you think #MicroBizMatters, as well as being part of a live event taking place on the day at Pimlico Plumbers from 12 noon until 2.00pm, by purchasing one of only 75 VIP Passes (for 2 attendees) available at a cost of £495.00 (V.A.T. is not applicable).

Each VIP Pass includes:

2 tickets to the live event at Pimlico Plumbers, London from 12 noon until 2.00pm on Friday 13th January 2017 including drinks and a light lunch.

An opportunity to display a roller banner stand (no more than 800mm x 2000mm) around the perimeter of the room where the event will be held that will be seen when the livestreaming takes place. (Roller banner stands must be provided by the VIP Pass holder at their own cost)
A small business logo of the VIP Pass holder displayed on the home page ofmicrobizmattersday.rocks website that links to a profile page.
A profile page on the microbizmattersday.rocks website that includes a 100 word bio, a video lasting no longer than 5 minutes that gives hints and tips for micro business owners and 250 words about ‘ Why You Think #MicroBizMatters’.
A 35 word bio with logo in the #MicroBizMattersDay 2017 programme.
The opportunity to promote the livestreaming of the #MicroBizMattersDay event to your networks via a link we will provide to embed in your website.
A mention of your support in Editors Notes on each press release issued.
Sharing of your support across social media channels in the build up to and during #MicroBizMattersDay 2017

We encourage VIP Pass holders that are not micro business owners to use one of their tickets for the live event to bring a micro business owner customer, supplier or network member who can be included in interviews throughout the event and also in photographs with celebrity guests – why not run a competition or raffle to get your micro business customers, members or suppliers involved?

Don’t forget it’s strictly #NoHatNoEntry.

About Tony Robinson OBE

Tony Robinson OBE, co-founded the independent, informal, free to join in, no contact details required, Enterprise Rockers movement in January 2012. The Enterprise Rockers CIC has one aim which is to make life better for micro (0-9 employees) enterprise owners around the world.

Co-founder and co-funder of the Enterprise Rockers, Tina Boden, and Tony spent a year testing the concept and recruiting well known entrepreneurs as Head Roadies and Band Leaders to launch the movement. The movement does no lobbying as it is about micro enterprise helping micro enterprise. The co-founders call this the #PowerOfPlenty.

Since launch they have attracted many Friends of the Enterprise Rockers. These are networks of micro enterprise owners within membership organisations and client/customer groups. Hundreds of thousands of self employed and business owners have been touched by the Enterprise Rockers work.

The success of many campaigns and their film 'What Makes Enterprise Rock?' inspired the co-founders to organise the first global, #MicroBizMattersDay on the third anniversary of the Enterprise Rockers CIC, January 9th 2015. Tony and Tina interviewed business owners and celebrity entrepreneurs and live streamed from Google for Work in London, supported by Sage UK. The second global #MicroBizMattersDay took place on January 8th 2016 with 8 hours live streaming from Portobello Business Centre. Business owners around the world give 8 minutes to help other business owners and the day was supported by all the major business membership organisations with headline support from ScanSnap (a Fujitsu company), Microsoft and Sage. The day trended on twitter for 5 hours and the target of over one million business owners being involved was exceeded.

The third #MicroBizMattersDay takes place on January 13th 2017 with the Main Event Partner being Pimlico Plumbers and International Development Partner being ScanSnap (a Fujitsu Company). New and additional for next year is a 2 hour main event and City Parties taking the live stream throughout the world. The day presents 8 learning hours and is truly a day of Recognition, Action (#IGave13) and Learning. The target audience next year is 10 million business owners.

Tony and Tina have individual micro enterprises, both for longer than 20 years, and are well known in the UK for their work to support and promote start ups and business ownership. Tony and Tina are Small and Micro Business Ambassadors for a number of organisations, events and campaigns. Tina is a founder ambassador of Small Business Saturday.

Tony received an OBE for services to small firms in 2001 and received two lifetime awards for enterprise in 2012 (from the IAB at the House of Commons) and 2013 (from Start Your Business Magazine). He founded the SFEDI Group in 1996 and remains a co-owner. He is co-founder and a Fellow of the Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs. He is also a NED of Yorkshire Coast Enterprise Agency.

He co-founded in 1986, and still runs, (Executive Chair) with Clare Francis (Company Secretary), the Business Advisory Bureau Limited.. The Business Advisory Bureau Limited specialises in assisting large organisations, private and public sector, to engage with and supply small and micro enterprise owners. The other Directors are Tina Boden (Managing) and Nigel Hudson (Research & Learning)

Tony has written seven books of which the best known is the fictional political and business satire with practical 'own business tips' - "Freedom from Bosses Forever". It is available as kindle book, paperback and audio book.
