UNDER EMBARGO UNTIL 14 September 2015 12:15
The Soap Co. are launching a new range of luxury handmade soaps, hand washes and hand lotions. The Soap Co. is a social enterprise that employs people who are blind or otherwise disadvantaged. The packaging scheme is not only designed to compete with the very best established luxury brands in the sector, but to also clearly stand out from them. The Soap Co. products offer a very different and compelling reason to buy.
Our new luxury skincare range includes handmade bar soaps, hand washes and hand lotions available in Black Poppy & Wild Fig,
Citrus, and White Tea. We believe our products should not only be good but do good too. Every bar and bottle sold creates employment for blind, disabled and disadvantaged people across the UK.
More than 70% of our team have a disability or come from a disadvantaged background, and our factory even has a series of large
kennels to house guide dogs. ‘The new branding includes the logotype repeated in a tactile braille graphic. The resulting logo helps visually communicate what’s special about The Soap Co.’ Paul Belford, Executive Creative Director, Paul Belford Ltd.
‘The logo lock up (with its tactile braille logotype) has been implemented across the entire range in black and white; the only colours coming from the subtle natural ingredients of the products themselves.’ Martin Brown, Creative Director, Paul Belford Ltd.
We have created this brand with the support of award winning designers and suppliers that share our values. We believe there doesn’t need to be a trade off between beautiful design, quality products and a social mission. For more information visit our website at thesoapco.org or email on email@example.com
The Soap Co. is a luxury soap brand and a social enterprise that employs people who are blind or otherwise disabled or disadvantaged. All our profits go back into the business so we can create even more jobs. That’s because we believe our products should be good and do good.
