FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Rockcoco are the first luxury hand fan producers in London for well over a hundred years. Established in 2014 by sisters Denise Frankel and Janis Sher - who hail from a fashion background, they are the go-to women for these exquisite accessories. The sisters have personally been building a collection of vintage and antique hand fans from across the globe for over a decade.
They have a deep knowledge, understanding and appreciation for the history and craftsmanship involved in creating the highest quality of fans.
In homage to the traditions of fan-making, Rockcoco have selected to work with expert Spanish artisans who have passed down the art of fan making through the generations. Rockcoco are also thrilled to be working with British manufacturers, reintroducing the lost art of fan-making to the UK.
Denise explains, “it was of the utmost importance for us to find artisans who share our passion for tradition and our desire to use only the finest quality materials for each and every fan.”
The Rockcoco brand offers three unique fan collections - Bespoke, Bridal & Occasion-wear, and Ready to Wear.
The Bespoke collection Rockcoco are delighted to be collaborating with Augustine Jewels on their Bespoke collection. Shortlisted for both Bridal Jewellery Collection of the year 2016, and Jewellery Designer of the year 2016, London based Augustine Jewels are renowned for handcrafting the finest jewellery.
Rockcoco will work closely with each customer to create their bespoke fan, carefully selecting the finest materials and gemstones. Each fan will then be handcrafted with the customer’s selection of precious or semi-precious jewels and surrounded by a choice of gold, white gold, platinum or silver. The Bridal & Occasion-wear collection
The striking Bridal and Occasion-wear collection is handcrafted using the finest materials including elegant ebony, delicate Chantilly lace, stunning silks, shimmering mother of pearl, opulent ostrich feathers, and finished with exquisite hand sewn sequins.
These are the ultimate luxurious accessory for every bride and every occasion. The Ready to Wear collection
The Rockcoco Ready to Wear collection combines wearable everyday fashion with the practicality of an accessory that keeps you cool, just what every busy modern woman about town needs.
The collection embodies all of the history and expert craftsmanship that has gone into producing hand fans for centuries, but with contemporary British designs and bold prints that really bring the fan up to date for the modern woman.
Note to Editors:
Established in 2014 Rockcoco Fans is the vision of Denise Frankel and Janis Sher, sisters who had a clear mission to revive the hand fan as the ultimate luxurious accessory for the modern woman.
The sister’s genuine passion and knowledge for their product is evident across the online boutique, which also features an in depth guide to the history of the fan and the intricacies of how the fan was used to communicate in days gone by. As well as a rather handy guide to the modern language of the fan including how to communicate “I’m single,” “Kiss me,” or “Buy me a drink” - useful etiquette that anyone purchasing a fan will likely want to take heed of, lest they should wave their fan in the wrong way!
All of the luxury fan collections can be viewed at Rockcocofans.com
