Smart home technology is really gaining in popularity, with more and more people choosing to install smart lighting and thermostats or smart security systems to make their homes safer and more comfortable.
Smart technology is moving so quickly that new and more advanced products are always coming to market, and many require an expert to see they are fitted correctly.
Murray Howes is a professional smart home installation expert, who has worked in the field for more than two years.
When he started A Connected Home, smart home tech was in its infancy. Now Murray Howes installs everything from automatic blinds to smart security systems, automatic self-locking garages to smart lighting.
Murray says: “It’s incredible just how much smart home technology has advanced in recent years, and more and more people are seeing the benefits. When I founded A Connected Home I knew this was the way home tech was going and I wanted to seize that incredible opportunity.
“The business has grown really well since it was created and I’m now looking to expand. With new technology always coming to the market, it’s really a case of keeping up to date with developments and ensuring I can offer the best installation services in the area.”
A Connected Home is based in Norwich but operates across the Norfolk region and into Suffolk. Murray Howes also works closely with innovative firm Nest, whose smart thermostats help keep thousands of British homes warm over the autumn and winter months.
