The Chillingo - The Inflatable Plush Flamingo!
Dubble Duck is a new UK based gift company who have 'taken off' with a 'flying start' by launching their very first project - THE CHILLINGO!
What exactly is a Chillingo? we hear you ask. Well of course it is a giant, inflatable, yet plush flamingo. Now that's simply FLAMAZING!
Gone are the days of the boring, dust-covered, bean filled bags that scream 'I was bought in the 80's and haven't moved since!' The ugly bean bags that took a level of precision and skill in order to position your derriere. It's time to step aside and take a sneaky beak at the giant cheeky Chillingo. It's Club Tropicana, it's kitsch, it's cerise, it's FLANOMENAL!
You need to take just one look inside your local shopping mall to be reminded just how trendy these long-legged beauties are. They are emblazoned on everything from sunglasses to cufflinks and have been championed by countless celebrities including, but not limited to the likes of Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus!
When asked about the idea behind The Chillingo, Dubble Duck's Director Hayley Grix responded:
"I personally adore Flamingos. How could you not?! I really wanted to create a larger than life flamingo that you could chill on whilst also being able to take it anywhere you wanted. After lots of sampling and prototyping we created the Chillingo you see here now.
To make sure it was portable we made the filling inflatable whilst keeping a cushioned seating area to maximise the comfort.
The fabric is custom made to ensure it’s washable and flame retardant, complete with a waterproof base for use outdoors. So you can chill and go!"
Dubble Duck have decided to launch their very first project via crowdfunding platform KICKSTARTER, that has helped many new companies get fresh, innovative products off the ground.
