SANTA’S VINTAGE BUS GROTTO
Sundays 11 and 18 December Father Christmas and his elves will be arriving at the Oxford Bus Museum by vintage bus.
In Victorian times Santa travelled by a sleigh pulled by reindeer, more recently he’s also well known to have travelled by steam train, but now he’s hopping on-board a vintage Oxford bus from 1953. That was the same year that Nat King Cole recorded the famous Christmas song (often known as "Merry Christmas to You").
Children will be able to visit Santa in his vintage bus grotto from 10:30am until 4pm. There’ll be games and complimentary vintage bus rides available at 12.15pm and 2.45pm. Every child that visits Santa will also receive a small Christmas gift.
