Salubrious Sauce Co. Develops Beery Special Sauce for JWLees Pubs
Suffolk-based, Salubrious Sauce Co. has been commissioned by North-West brewery, JWLees, to create a delicious new sauce especially for its pub diners.
Using its traditional Sunday Lunch Sauce as inspiration, Salubrious has developed the JWLees Brewery Relish – a perfect accompaniment to a roast dinner and a range of other pub classics.
“Our focus is British pub food, with many of our dishes featuring our own JWLees Beers as an ingredient,” explains Anson Bolton at JWLees. “Salubrious offered to develop a unique table top relish that would feature our own beer and give a unique twist for our diners. Working closely with Salubrious we devised a relish flavoured with our legendary Manchester Star Ale.”
He adds, “We believe our traditional Sunday roast is one of the finest around and The Salubrious Sauce Co Brewery Relish is a perfect accompaniment, but it goes really well with a whole range of our pub classics.”
The new sauce will be exclusively available to punters in all 35 of JWLees pubs across the North West of England from 21st March and is the first collaboration for the 18-month-old condiment company. “It has been fantastic working with JWLees to create this special sauce and we're incredibly pleased with the result,” explains Jim Fennell, founder of Salubrious Sauce Co. “Our sauces aim to pep up traditional British meals, so creating something to go with a range of classic pub dishes made with beer from this family-owned brewery is a perfect fit for us. It tastes amazing and I'm sure the punters will love it!”
