Starting on the 15th September, fans of the hit game Angry Birds Epic on iOS, Android and Windows phone will be able to purchase a special ‘Good Deeds’ coin bundle from the in-game store and part of the proceeds will go towards supporting Room to Read. The campaign will last for two weeks 15th – 29th September and all the money raised will be used to provide children in Asia and Africa with educational opportunities and support the development of key literacy skills and a habit of reading. Working in collaboration with local communities, partner organizations and governments, the organzation develops literacy skills and a habit of reading among primary school children and ensures girls have the skills and support needed to complete their secondary education.

Room to Read’s Chief Development Officer Dr. Geetha Murali said: “Rovio is a highly recognized company and is a leader in the gaming industry, so we feel privileged about the opportunity to partner with Rovio on this game.
