‘Reusable cups, reduces your cost of coffee by 60p!'

Transylvanian coffee shop comes up trumps with Keep Cup brainwave.

Coffee keeps us going, but how long can we keep a cup of coffee going? Oana's, the noted independent coffee shop in St Ives, Cambridgeshire has launched new 'Keep Cups', helping to cut down waste while also saving their customers a pretty penny - 60p on any hot drink to be exact!

Dean Castel from Oana's say" Keep cups are a great way to help the enviroment and we thought why not incentivise our customers to make the switch by offering a discount everytime they use one"

Oana's will bolster its reputation as an environmentally-friendly coffee house with the Keep Cups, manufactured by world famous coffee accessory manufacturer, Illy. Customers will invest £12.50 in the Keep Cup, which comes in a large coffee size, and then will see the savings roll in each time they return for a refill. This fantastic eco idea will help to save the environment and money at the same time, and also encourage even more loyalty from Oana's regulars.

Commenting on the Keep Cup campaign, Oana explained: "We are really excited to do our bit for the environment, while also helping our customers save money each time they pop in for a drink. We are blessed with having such a loyal bunch of customers, and are determined that we do everything we can to reward those who accept nothing less than an Oana's coffee! While we await the Spring to arrive, hot drinks are very much the order of the day, so we expect that the Keep Cup idea will prove very popular over the coming weeks. Watch this space for news of the next eco idea at Oana's as we are always open to activities which help save the planet."

Oana's is a husband and wife team consisting of the Romanian Oana herself, and her other half, Dean. They are known for their shakes and paninis as well as coffees, and innovative items such as a Lotus caramelised biscuit chimney cone.
