Psychic Nights sparkle with Fairydust.. and we are expanding!

Fairydust Events has a new home!

We are now at Moor Park Sports & Social Club, Blackpool Road, Preston on a monthly basis with our wonderful Psychic Nights. At just £5 entry on the door, some amazing mediums including Victor Collins, Joy Fernavs, Carol Simpson, Paul Deleth, and many more for 2018 plus our amazing shopping you are sure for a very special evening.

Fairydust is a non-profit organisation raising funds for two charities this year ABF The Soldiers Charity and Blood Bikes Lancashire both of which do amazing work locally in this area.

Fairydust is running by Mrs Sarah Williams and has been operating now for approximately 3 years.

Sarah says 'something just clicked with me when I saw small local charities on social media asking for help on a daily basis, it seems if you are a large organisation you can get the help a lot more than if you are a small outfit trying to raise funds for a good cause and i wanted to help so thought of organising these events. Its a challenge but its something I do enjoy and its good to give something back to the local area that I have lived in for the past 25 years. Though I am not Preston born and bred I have always felt welcome in this city and have made some good friends with Fairydust over the years. Fairydust is a group effort both with our stallholders, our speakers, local businesses who donate our raffle and our lovely guests, none of which would be possible without them! '

We also have done a Family Fun Day at Sir Tom Finney back in May and it was such a success we are looking to go back in August on the 25th, and its free for all the family with stalls, rides and lots more.

In the past Fairydust has also done a Tribute Band Event when we had the fantastic Queenesque, we would love to do this type of event again, and have contacts with some amazing singers/acts for cabaret type events which can be nights to remember! We are also currently looking at Business Networking for women let us know if you would like to know more?? Perhaps you are a sole trader or just starting out and wanting tips from other business ladies, as with all our events any subscription or meeting fees after costs go straight in the pot to be divided out between our two charities in two nice cheques hopefully in December!

Fairydust is also looking for new charities to help next year so if you think you know of a local cause that could use some help with awareness and funds do let us know. We only really have one simple rule it can't be a huge company already and get lots of funding apart from that we are open to help!

Though Fairydust is Preston based, we would also look at moving outward to other areas, so if you think events would work in your neighbourhood then do get in touch and let's organise something. Obviously, we would help a charity

About Fairydust Events

Fairydust Events started approximately 3 years ago when I realised that local charities in my area who may be of a small to medium size need help with raising funds and awareness about what they do. I started with a Ladies Night and it all started from there! I put a Facebook ad out for stalls for my event and thought I might get a couple of responses but ending up with over 20 and in the end had to narrow it down to around 9 stalls on the night itself. We did raise money for a charity which was Gift of A Wedding a fantastic cause based right here in the North West. From there I thought about this and realised that I could organise more events and Fairydust Events was born. We now do a variety of events and it has grown from strength to strength. We have over 17K likes on Facebook and a strong following on Twitter. We have regular guests who come to our events plus new visitors. Our events including Psychic Nights, Ladies Nights, Family Fun Days, Tribute Band Events, Craft Fayres and anything else I can think of at the time! We have raised funds for the following causes since we started: 2015 Gift of a Wedding North West Air Ambulance Emma's Dream Claire's House Children's Hospice Preston Neo-Natal Unit The Space Centre Donna's Dream House 2016 Preston Neo-Natal Unit Lagan's Foundation Cancer Help Preston Blackpool Tiggers 2017 George's Legacy NW Air Ambulance Preston Domestic Violence Services SSAFA - The Armed Forces Charity For 2018 I am trying to raise funds and awareness for ABF The Soldiers Charity and Blood Bikes Lancashire. Last year we raised just over £1000 at the end of the year. It does cost to run as does any organisation but I am determined to keep going. It's not just about the money for the charities if we can raise awareness of how important the work is that they do then we are still doing something good for them. They do have their own page on our website as well. I run Fairydust in my spare time and have some fantastic supporters including our wonderful mediums, and local businesses who help with raffle plus of course our amazing stallholders, its a group effort and I would not have it any other way.
