The pet agency head office is based in Wimbledon, where the team of 6 are on hand to deal with the wide range of services they offer; everything from dog boarding in your own home or pet sitter’s home, and doggie day care to cat feeding and exercising horses whilst you are away.

Louise Root, Owner of Very Important Pets said: “The main summer holiday season is coming up when many pet owners worry about what to do with their beloved pets whilst they are away. Many don’t like the thought of leaving them in kennels or a cattery and would prefer the personalised service of a pet agency like ourselves.

“We are pioneers in the pet services field. When we started 15 years ago there weren’t many options for what to do with your pet whilst you were away apart from leaving with family/friends or in kennels/cattery. Now there are other companies that offer dog boarding or walking but we are unique in that we cover all animals - large or small.

“As well as offering year-round pet sitting, boarding, doggie day care, walking and feeding we also run dog training classes and one-on-one dog training, Pet first aid seminars, plus offer some veterinary services such as administering injections, whelping and dog mating as we have qualified veterinary nurses working with us,” adds Ms Root.

Prices start from £17.50 per hour for dog walking, £30 per day for dog boarding, £30 per day for doggie day care and from £17.50 for cat feeding.
