ParkBee Launches Their First London Sites by Issuing Scarily-Realistic Parking Fines
ParkBee, the parking startup winning over UK car park owners & cash-strapped drivers, has been issuing ‘parking fines’ claiming that the recipient has been ‘charged for overpaying for parking’.
For its first launch in the UK, the parking startup ParkBee, decided to scare, or should I say, surprise Londoners with fake parking fines. This marketing stunt was aimed at making Londoners aware of the new parking locations and making them realise that they could park for cheaper with ParkBee!
The front of the fine, as well as the way it was placed on the cars, was purposely made to look like a real fine. However, it is when the car owners turned over the fine that they would realise the stunt, with the sentence: “You’ve been charged for overpaying your parking” written on the back.
ParkBee has just arrived in the UK after a successful year in the Netherlands, and it keeps on growing. The startup has just launched its first sites in London, in locations such as, Southwark, Edgware and Spitalfields, hoping to make Londoners parking experience easier and cheaper.
The startup will continue to use its smart technology, and partnership with Parkmobile and RingGo, to open more private carparks in the UK, generating more revenues for the owners, reducing search congestion and making parking seamless and affordable for drivers.
