Outdoor adventure firm’s video message to PM on how to handle Brexit

Press release

13 December 2016

It’s not often politics and paintballing go hand-in-hand. However, a Yorkshire and Cumbria-based adventure company might just have the answer for MPs to tackle the UK’s biggest political debate.

Outdoor adventure company, Live For Today, has launched a controversial political video (http://www.live-for-today.com/activity/paintballing-leeds/) to demonstrate MPs battling over Brexit in the game they have dubbed ‘Escape the EU’.

The video shows the Prime Minister and UK party leaders, along with the US President Elect, Donald Trump, battling it out in a heated game of paintball. The first team to raise the British Flag and release Article 50 wins.

Although the company takes world politics seriously, the idea came from founder and managing director, Marc Wise who invites the UK political leaders to attend their Leeds Venue to play a game of paintball and release some tension.

Keeping the video on trend, it even features the leaders of UK and USA doing the mannequin challenge.

Marc comments:

“2016 has been a tough year and, following the decision for the UK to leave the EU, there’s an element of insecurity amongst businesses like mine. We therefore wanted to create the video to add some good natured humour and should the Prime Minister and other Politicians wish to come and enjoy a game of paintball, we’d like to offer them a complimentary game!”

Based at Ripley Castle, Harrogate, Hazlewood Castle, Leeds and the Castle Green Hotel, Kendal, Live For Today host a range of activities across the three sites. These include a High Ropes Course, Zip Wire, Axe Throwing, Raft Building, Archery and Quad Biking.
