On the Waterfront Boat Party with Ashley Beedle 13:00 on 9th Sept 2017 to 2:00 on 10th Sept 2017

19 August 2017 07:30

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Ashley Beedle, Stuart Patterson, Dom Mandrell, Ece Duzgit, Michael Lomotey, Patrick Richmond
Soul Picnic return from their success at the Walthamstow Garden Party festival with a trail blazing boat party down the River Lea to an amazing riverside venue - Stour Space in Hackney Wick.

Joining forces with us is Londonhousemusic.com and veteran DJ/promoter Stuart Patterson (The Date/Love Vinyl) so an amazing party is assured.

As if this weren’t enough the legendary Ashley Beedle joins us as our headline DJ. Anyone who came to Ashley’s road-blocked gig at Mirth in E17 last year will know how special this will be. Ashley also djs on the last adults only boat party that leaves at 7.30pm and heads to the venue before his set at Stour Space.

Three boats at different times will be sailing from the pick up point on the River Lea beside Markfield Park (10 mins walk from Tottenham Hale/Seven Sisters tube). The first two boats will be family friendly so feel free to bring kids for the early part of the day.

Kid curfew is 6pm in the venue and there is a complimentary return boat trip for the families to get home. The parents who haven’t pulled the short straw will of course be welcome to stay!

The venue has a well stocked bar and will be serving food – all day breakfasts and snacks from noon and from 5.30pm Amazing Italian food from Stour Space’s pop-up kitchen.

The last boat from Markfield Park will leave at 7.30pm. This will be a strictly adults only boat. Music will be the usual Soul Picnic blend of soul, reggae, house, afro and disco - see you there!
