Newly reopened and already back on top - The Kings Arms, Bexleyheath named as finalist in the Great British Pub Awards 2018

The Kings Arms in Bexleyheath is celebrating reaching the finals of the prestigious Great British Pub Awards 2018.

The pub recently reopened following an extensive refurbishment project, which saw the venue transformed with modernised amenities and a new look and feel, whilst still staying true to its historic roots. Serving the local community for over 175 years, the public house has a new interior and a new menu, dedicated to putting the ‘great’ back in the great British pub! With great food and an equally stellar atmosphere, its no wonder the venue is already reaping the rewards of this updated aesthetic and invigorated approach to pub management.

Nominated in the Best Managed Pub category at the Great British Pub Awards, The Kings Arms has only been reopened for a matter of months – but this acknowledgement should encourage all the team to carry on with their ambitious plans for continued development. With classic interiors and a menu which celebrates the very best of the Great British Pub, The Kings Arms offers everything from homemade soups to salads, pasta, pub favourites such as pie and mash and fish and chips, and a delicious Sunday roast to indulge in at the weekend. In addition, the venue offers an array of delicious drinks, hand-picked for their taste and quality, sure to draw in established customers as well as visitors hoping to find their brand new local!

“We set out to breathe new life into the town centre, and reinvigorate the great British pub,” says Pete, Landlord and Owner at The Kings Arms.

“After only ten weeks, we have already reached the final of these national awards – something we could never have dreamt of! The team have worked incredibly hard to create something truly special, and we have much more still to offer the Bexleyheath community.”
