New Veins Clinic for Surrey
Leading UK cosmetic health provider The Private Clinic has opened its latest base in Weybridge, and this time their focus is on veins.
Three in 10 of us will experience varicose veins at some point in our lives. However getting treatment for the condition can be hard to come by, with the NHS unwilling to treat all sufferers and many bases still using outdated, poor-performing methods. As one of the UK’s leading specialist vein centres, The Private Clinic surgeons have been behind some of the most innovative modern treatments for vascular conditions with minimally-invasive solutions available at treatment clinics across the country.
The company's latest treatment centre, located just a 5 minute drive from the centre of Weybridge in the local Prime Health building, marks an important addition to the clinic’s portfolio of 8 other bases and 13 consultation rooms. With 50% of problem veins still being surgically stripped despite protestation from the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence and NHS waiting lists ever expanding, the importance of alternative channels in which to tackle vascular conditions is proving more crucial than ever.
Of the clinic's Weybridge veins base The Private Clinic’s CEO, Valentina Petrone, said:
“We are committed to helping our patients receive the care they need in a location that is convenient to them. We pioneer some of the most innovative treatments in the UK, and are thrilled to be able to bring a specialist sector to the Surrey community. We look forward to helping more patients than ever treat vascular conditions; whether it’s for health or aesthetics – patient satisfaction is always our goal.”
Headed by esteemed Consultant Vascular Surgeon Catharine McGuinness and supported by Sonographer Mr. Keith Humphries, the clinic hope it marks a new step in their ever-expanding portfolio and a key milestone in their commitment to help the UK with health and aesthetic needs.
