New Training Centre opens in SE14 - It's LEARNING not EDUCATION! We open this weekend with a course on helping Parents and Teachers recognise Emotional Behaviour in Teenagers

09 November 2016 14:00

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

BeBright Projects new Training Centre is opening this weekend in Telegraph Hill, Kitto Road SE14 5TY. This exciting new training centre is aimed at helping the community grow and learn as well as helping small businesses thrive.

Education isn't just about college or university it's about learning to bridge our gaps of knowledge. It's short bite sized learning that helps us take bigger steps to solutions. BeBright Training Centre is here to help you clarify and bridge those gaps. We will bring in the best experts who are incisive and knowledgable to help you learn fast and find solutions.

We are delighted our first course will be this Saturday 12th November from 1.30pm to 4.30pm.

Andrea Chatten, a children's behavioural psychologist with over 25 years of experience working with vulnerable children will be sharing her secrets on how to identify emotional distress in teenagers, how to deal with it in the first instance and how to find the right support. She has made a special trip to London to be with us and share her expertise.

Parents, Carers and Teachers will know that teenagers have lots of emotional highs and lows. Their body is changing and often so is their life. As adults we need to be vigilent and aware of the triggers teenagers may face. We need to be aware of the signs and what we need to do to support them.

This short focused session will give an overview of what you can do as parents, carers and teachers as well as a facilitated question and answer session at the end.
