Founded in 2013 by Lucie Costa de Beauregard, a French mother living in London, ma petite anglaise is an international children’s accessories brand offering hair ornaments that are both functional and whimsically classic.
After discovering ‘Ribbies’ with her daughter, and since the brand did not have someone representing them in Europe, Lucie decided to get involved. Lucie recalls, ‘When coaxing my daughter into wearing a jumper in the chilly London winter she simply replied, “Maman, I am not cold, I am a little bit English!” thus the brand was born!’
Created by American mother, Kim Marable, Ribbies hair clips have been available since 2006, popularity soaring thanks to their superior quality and charming styles. She created a simple ribbon covered hair clippie with a color coordinated foam grip. They proved to stay put better than any other hair clip on the market. Ribbies haiclips have soon become very popular thanks to their superior quality and their cutest styles. A continuously growing collection ‘Ribbies’ are a style that will not date.
Initially launching in French and now in English ma petite anglaise delivers to many little girls around the world. We offer a selection of Ribbies hair accessories and have also developed our own designs with the brand.

Quality Certification
Ribbies hair clippies have been approved by an accredited product safety laboratory and are compliant with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA), which is compulsory for products sold in the USA and guarantees their safety and their traceability. They are latex-free, and produced with a non-toxic glue as well as ribbons certified according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
With Ribbies, the ribbon is solidely glued to the clip, bows stay put. Some bows have even been manually sewn so as to ensure you get the best quality.
