NEW: Baboo Gelato Launch New Festive Flavours

In celebration of the festive season, award-winning gelatier, Baboo Gelato, has launched its new range of festive flavours. The limited-edition gelatos include: Fiery Ginger, Brandy, and Bah Humbug which will all be available until the end of December.

Founder of Baboo, Annie Hanbury, concocted the unique flavours in Baboo’s own kitchen located in Dorset. Fiery Ginger Gelato is made using fresh ginger and pieces of crystallised ginger for a crunchy, fiery, texture, Brandy Gelato is made using real brandy, creating a lovely smooth flavour and makes an exciting alternative to brandy butter – perfect over Christmas pudding. Lastly, Bah Humbug is Baboo’s take on the original black and cream striped peppermint sweet, with a smooth caramel and mint flavour, it’s the perfect dessert for kids. All Baboo’s Gelato’s are made from rich, organic, A2 milk from Eastfield Farm and the ingredients are sourced as locally as possible, helping to support local communities.

Baboo Gelato's festive flavours can be purchased online and from their kiosks in West Bay, Bridport and Lyme Regis from £3 per tub.

About Baboo

Baboo Gelato is a multi-award-winning artisanal gelato handmade in Bridport, Dorset. Launched in 2015 by master gelatiere Annie Hanbury, Baboo gelato is made using the best of homegrown and the West Country’s local ingredients. Baboo source organic milk from a local dairy whose cows graze on a variety of grasses, herbs and flowers which give a much richer flavour to the milk. Much of the fruit used in Baboo’s gelato is homegrown in Annie’s abundant smallholding including raspberries, strawberries, rhubarb, apples, pears, plums, redcurrants, blackcurrants, and gooseberries. With such a fabulous choice at her fingertips, Annie loves to experiment with flavours and the end results speak for themselves.
