New Appointments at Local Law Firm
Leah Groves, head of the healthcare team at local law firm Fisher Jones Greenwood (FJG), has been made a partner as of April 1st this year.
Previously a partner at Abrahams Dresden LLP in London, Leah came to FJG in July 2015 to establish the dentistry and healthcare team. With over a decade of experience acting for the profession, Leah has an in-depth understanding of the professional and commercial requirements of dentists and provides excellent service.
Mrs Groves commented, “I am delighted to become a partner at FJG. Having been with the firm for a short time, it is extremely satisfying to reach partnership level and I look forward to continuing to assist clients and to help the firm grow in the future.”
Paula Fowler, managing partner at FJG, commented, “Since joining the firm, Leah has consistently strived to make her mark, an approach which is now paying dividends. She is well respected by clients and introducers alike which has allowed her to take the specialism to the next level via her long standing relationships. Fisher Jones Greenwood also celebrates two internal promotions with the appointment of two new Associates; Paula Bland and Amy Herring. Paula joined the firm in 1985 as an office junior and is now a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives working within the Conveyancing team, whilst Amy has progressed from paralegal in 2010 to qualifying as a Solicitor in 2014. She is now a valued member of the wills and probate team.
Paula Fowler added, “I am thrilled to announce these new appointments which are richly deserved. Over her 31 year tenure Paula has shown extreme dedication to the firm and to the local community. Amy has similarly worked tirelessly within the wills and probate team and has built up a new client base in Chelmsford. As well as being hard earned, these two promotions are also a testament to the support and encouragement that we endeavour to provide to all our staff throughout their chosen careers with FJG. It is fantastic to be able to reward internal staff progression and I am sure that Paula and Amy will now go on to make even more significant contributions over the next few years”.
