National Enterprise Network announce two new Board directors

Two new Directors have joined the National Enterprise Network Board, to work alongside other Board members to devise and develop key strategic activities for the unique membership body that represents enterprise support organisations.

The appointments of Ian Viles, Chief Executive of Erewash Partnership in Derbyshire and David Robinson, Chairman of Croydon Business Venture were confirmed at NENs Annual General meeting in November following membership elections. The two new directors bring additional experience to the Network, under the leadership of NEN Chairman Chris Pichon.

Erewash Partnership, a not for profit company and enterprise agency was established in 1994 by leaders of the local business community and Erewash Borough Council, its purpose is to bring together those interested in securing a more prosperous future for Erewash. The primary objectives of the Partnership are to promote and encourage enterprise with particular emphasis on encouraging new business formation and small business expansion, alongside activities that promote the economic and social well-being of the area. Having been involved with the organisations since its formation, Ian has developed vast experience in enterprise support and economic development which he brings to the NEN Board.

Croydon Business Venture is an enterprise agency that helps those wanting to start their own business with both business planning and with the development of basic business skills.
