National Chocolate Week: Top London Chocolatier Creates Dress Made of Chocolate
London's Paxton Chocolate is busy hand-making hundreds of delicate discs of its exquisite chocolate to adorn its first ever chocolate dress, which will go on show at London's Salon Du Chocolate next week.
The Shoreditch-based chocolatier, which has created bespoke designs for the likes of Jimmy Choo and Calvin Klein, will be raising its profile even further as its first chocolate dress hits the catwalk at the Salon Du Chocolate Fashion Show which will run every day during the exhibition.
The Salon Du Chocolate, which runs from 14th to 16th October, is attended by the world's greatest chocolatiers, chefs and pastry chefs and Paxton Chocolate will be exhibiting its beautiful chocolates throughout the three days.
Established just over three years ago, Paxton Chocolate has quickly established itself as a leading London chocolatier, producing beautifully-designed discs of chocolate in a range of delicious and quirky flavours.
“We are very excited to be part of this amazing celebration of chocolate and it's a real honour to be asked to create a bespoke chocolate dress for the fashion show,” explains Caitlin Paxton, founder of Paxton Chocolate. “We are known for our fashion-led and creative chocolates so this is a perfect fit for us.”
Bringing together the talents of chocolatiers and fashion designers, The Salon Du Chocolate fashion show will take place every day at 5pm throughout the show. All the dresses will also be on show at Westfield for a week following the event.
