Amit Tayade and his team of office staff and care workers at Caremark (Bristol) have been sent a personal letter of thanks from local Labour MP for Bristol South, Karin Smyth. The letter was sent directly to Dominica Dordi, registered Care Manager, to congratulate the entire team for their recent GOOD rating by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

In her letter, the MP referenced the ‘hard work’ which Caremark (Bristol) had been doing for the vulnerable and elderly in the South Bristol constituency. Caremark provides high quality care to many local residents, in their own homes.

Managing Director, Amit, said he was honoured to receive correspondence that congratulated the entire team for their efforts in gaining the GOOD rating in all areas of the business.

“It’s testament to the Caremark (Bristol) team that we received this commendable rating and to be personally contacted by our local MP has made us all incredibly proud. Without the hard work of Dominica and the team, this wouldn’t have been possible, so I want to thank them for their commitment to our client’s care. We’re dedicated to maintaining this high standard of care and have already set processes in place to ensure we remain compliant.”

Dominica, who oversees the daily operations of Caremark (Bristol) and has years of experience in the health care sector, was incredibly touched that the efforts made by the team of managers, office workers and care support staff had been recognised in such a momentous way.

“I couldn’t believe it when I opened the letter – it was such a wonderful moment for us all. We work so hard to make sure that we are delivering the best standard of care, and that is something that will always take priority. It’s wonderful to be thanked for our efforts.”

Ms Smyth ended the letter by asking that Dominica passed on her ‘thanks and congratulations on to everybody in your team’ – something both Dominica and Amit were more than happy to do! The entire team are elated and are looking forward to a compassionate and compliant 2018.
