Marriott Hotel Bexleyheath hosts Chapel Down Wine Dinner for British Food Fortnight

To celebrate British Food Fortnight, the Copper Restaurant at the Marriott Hotel Bexleyheath will be hosting a wine dinner with award-winning local English wine producer, Chapel Down on Thursday 29 September 2016. Guests will enjoy a three-course meal with each course paired with a Chapel Down wine.

The menu has been devised by the Copper Restaurant’s Executive Chef, Sunny Singh, and focuses on locally produced seasonal produce such as Lamb Rump with creamed mushroom from British isle and Kentish Bramley apple tart with Jude’s vanilla ice cream. Each dish will then be paired with a wine from local English wine producer, Chapel Down, based in Tenterden in Kent. The evening will be hosted by Sunny Singh and Chapel Down Brand Ambassador, Freddie O’Sullivan.

Drinks Reception:

Chapel Down Vintage Reserve Brut

Starter:

Salmon & dill fish cake, pickled cucumber, celeriac remoulade

Paired with Chapel Down Bacchus 2015

Main course:

Rump of lamb, creamed mushroom, parmesan, chunky chips

Paired with Chapel Down Union Red 2014

Dessert:

Apple tart, vanilla ice cream

Paired with Chapel Down Nectar Late Harvest 2014
