London Pub Offers Free Pints of Alcohol-Free Beer to Raise Money for Macmillan Cancer Support's Sober October

To boost the profile of its new beer St Peter's Without® and to help raise money for MacMillan's Go Sober for October campaign, St Peter's Brewery is letting punters at its London pub try a pint of Without® for free this October.

City drinkers will be able to pick up a free pint of Without® at the popular Jerusalem Tavern in Clerkenwell from now until 31st October, and can offer a discretionary donation to the Macmillan Cancer Support during its Sober October campaign.

“Without® is the only beer in the UK that really is as good as a real pint so what better way to get more people drinking it than to give away free pints and raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support at the same time?” says CEO, Steve Magnall. “Whether you're taking part in Sober October, trying to cut down on your units or you need to drive home at the end of your evening, you can try a pint of Without® for free throughout October*.”

St Peter's Without® is the UK's only alcohol-free craft beer. Made in exactly the same way as a normal pint, just without alcohol. It is rich, full-bodied and malty. In fact, punters at the Jerusalem Tavern are often surprised to hear it is alcohol-free at all.

Since launching in August response to St Peter's Without® has defied the critics. Top food and drink writer, Charles Campion, described Without® as having 'Impressive flavours', saying “If you had not mentioned alcohol free, it'd be easy for this beer to pass as "real".

The Jerusalem Tavern is located in Britton Street, Clerkenwell, London and is open Monday to Friday 11am to 11pm. St Peter's Without is available nationwide in the supermarket and in pubs and bars.
