FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
A tenant rewards and engagement platform will let one of its users live rent-free for a month as part of its festive giveaway.
Online platform Vaboo is responding to the results of a survey it recently carried out, which identified that almost all tenants are worried about the rising cost of living, especially during the Christmas period.
Jonathan Stein, the Founder of Vaboo, said: “We reached out to 300 of our tenant users in the UK and discovered that 98% are worried about the rising cost of living. This completely justifies paying someone's rent in December, when outgoings are probably higher than any other month.”
The platform provides offers and discounts for tenants based on what they already spend their money on, and their December offer will provide up to £909 worth of free rent, based on average UK rent calculated in October of this year.
Jonathan added: "The UK lettings market has come under renewed criticism recently and the government has pledged to ban letting agents fees. By using a platform like Vaboo letting agents can improve their image in the communities they serve. We believe that our partnerships with letting agents and our work with landlords can truly help to change the face of the industry for the better.”
According to insurers Endsleigh, 75% of tenants said their attitude towards their tenancy provider noticeably improved after receiving a gift or reward. Vaboo’s mission is to use that behaviour to change the image of the private rental sector by improving service levels.
Vaboo are actively working with a range of accommodation providers including housing associations, build-to-rent developers, letting agents and student halls. There has been a positive response from all involved.
