Leading financial experts predict a major global financial crisis within 2 years

A major, global financial crisis will happen within the next 2 years. That’s according to world-renowned economic forecaster Harry Dent. The warning came at Saturday’s Elite Investor Summit, where some of the world’s top financial experts came together to offer their expertise to budding and experienced investors from around the globe. Harry, who captivated the audience with his unique approach to demographic forecasting, has successfully pinpointed nearly every major economic crash over the past 30 years including the 1991 recession, the Japanese market crash, the 2001 tech crash and more recently – the impending demise in China.

Dent delivered a sobering keynote speech, pulling information from a range of demographic trends to establish the basis for his stark conclusion – that a major financial crash was imminent and unavoidable. The Dow Jones he said, would fall to just 6,000 by early 2017 and bottom out as low as 3,300 by early 2020 with a ripple effect across the globe. But that wasn’t the end of the bad news, with Dent also revealing that the housing market would take a major dive and was unlikely to recover in the short to mid term. This he said, was due to top heavy age distribution in many of the major economies (Germany being the Old Man of Europe). “When old people die, they become sellers of real estate. If the population of an economy has more old people than young people, you have more dyers than buyers and the simple rules of supply and demand come into effect. “

Graham Rowan, Chairman of the Elite Investor Club which hosts the Elite Investor Summit, had this to say. “Today’s stark warning from Harry is a clear message to investors that they cannot rely on the stock market or residential property investments to fund their retirement. Investors need to be taking a different approach, thinking outside the box and seeking alternative investment opportunities and that’s exactly what we able to offer here at the Elite Investor Club”.

Dent wasn’t the only expert predicting a troubled economic future at the Summit. Independent strategist Russell Napier, economics supremo James Ferguson and Money Week’s Tim Price were among the panel of experts who came to similar conclusions, leaving attendees in no doubt that they would need to revisit their investment portfolios.

2015 marked the third year of the Elite Investor Summit and boasted an enviable line-up of investment experts from across the globe. The summit has experienced exponential growth over its brief history – a clear indication that more people than ever want to take control of their own financial futures rather than leaving it in the hands of fund managers that are failing to deliver.
