Jigsaw Medical appoints Julie Mercer as Managing Director
After an incredible 2016 for Jigsaw Medical, which has seen the company significantly exceed its original growth targets, the company continues to strive to maintain it’s very innovative approach to market demands and our focus is to continue our growth plans however, as any business leader will tell you maintaining year on year growth and continuing to develop new modes of delivery is the key to success.
In order to continue to be the market leading company, Jigsaw has identified the need to continue to invest in and strengthen it's resilient management structure to allow it's existing business to develop and grow. Therefore, we feel now is the right time for us to appoint a Managing Director to allow us as #TeamJigsaw to focus on development of new business opportunities and maintain and grow our existing business.
The new Managing Director will be responsible for the operational delivery and day to day management of Jigsaw Medical Services Ltd, with Chris Percival, CEO, focusing on strategically driving the Group into new and exciting areas and this will also allow time to focus on the Jigsaw Group’s continued planned expansion.
Julie Mercer, formally Commercial Director of Jigsaw Medical has been appointed as Managing Director. Julie is highly experienced in Management and leadership; a former Nurse and Operational Director for NHS Professionals she was responsible for the design, set up and implementation of the current “NHSP” organisation commissioned by the Department of Health becoming the largest ‘in-house’ national temporary staff provider of the NHS. Prior to joining Jigsaw Julie also worked in the private sector on the successful completion of a major M&A project comprising of 5 individual acquisition targets and subsequent re-engineering of the business model. This resulted in the growth of Group turnover by £250 million and an increase in headcount of over 1000 permanent staff.
