Funding Xchange expresses concerns over passporting rights in response to the Prime Minister’s speech today

Small business finance disrupter Funding Xchange has expressed concerns over a lack of clarity on passporting, in response to today’s Brexit speech by the Prime Minister.

Katrin Herrling, CEO and Co-founder of Funding Xchange, said: "Today’s speech was billed as one of detail and on many issues it delivered that, but on the issue of passporting the Prime Minister said the alignment of financial sector regulations should allow trade to continue as normal. The sector does need further clarification though.”

“The Prime Minister did outline that the Chancellor will be explaining the position on this issue over the coming days though, so we await further clarity.”
