Forum of Private Business cites Britain as trading again

Ian Cass, CEO of the Forum of Private Business, is citing the Production, Manufacturing and Trade Balance data announced today (10 February) as a real indication that Britain is well placed for business in the post Brexit environment.

"Today's data is excellent news as we approach the Brexit negotiation period", he said, adding, "Businesses still need clarity on what the conditions are likely to be once we are no longer part of the single market, but we now have clear evidence that Britain is ready to get trading whatever they may be"
