Former employees provide a lifeline to its customers when a South Coast Marine company closes its doors.

When Kempsafe ceased trading in January this year 6 decades of history was about to disappear until a number of former employees stepped into provide the continuity of support that its customers deserved by setting up a new venture ‘Angel Marine’.

Angel Marine acquired the rights to the Kempsafe trading name, which means that customers will still be able to get hold of the same Galley Ranges manufactured in UK. Qualified marine engineers will also be available to service and refurbish their equipment and the same ‘One Stop Shop’ for both offshore and onshore catering & laundry spares. These customers include the MOD, Scottish Fisheries, Ferry Operators and Cruise liners

Angel Marine was setup with advice, support and funding from a number of key agencies including the Hampshire Chamber of Commerce, Southampton City Council, Enterprise First and the Solent Local Enterprise Partnership Armed Forces Funding.
