FOR ONE DAY ONLY: WORK AND BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES FOR MUMS LAND IN BRIGHTON ATTRACTING 700 WOMEN FROM ALL ACROSS THE SOUTH EAST
A free entry exhibition for 'mums on a mission' is coming to the Amex Stadium in Brighton. It will open its doors to over 700 women from all across the South-East for one day only, on Thursday 23rdFebruary.
The Mums Enterprise Roadshow is the only event of its kind in the UK. A child-friendly work and business show designed to help mums start or grow a business, and generally put their talents to use when 9-5 doesn’t work.
Working with partners, online accounting software company Xero and global women’s work and lifestyle website TalentedLadiesClub.com (as well as over 30 exhibiting organisations), the show will bring support, advice, know-how, work and business opportunities to an audience of over 700 mums from all across the South-East.
Free accountancy and business clinics
Attendees are encouraged to make use of the free expertise on offer through Xero’s 1-2-1 Accountancy and Business clinics, plus the opportunity to have an incisive session to identify issues and action for growth, from entrepreneur and investor, Paul Dolman-Darrall.
Attendees can visit over 30 exhibitors who have skills, opportunities and support to offer. There are taster workshops covering topics like 'Identify your strengths', 'Turn your Customers into Fans' and 'How to Choose a Franchise that’s right for you'. There is also speed networking, a Q&A panel featuring Effie Moss of Just For Tiny People who won backing from Dragons Den back in 2014, and the opportunity to meet like-minded mums.
The event is completely free to attend. Mums come and go when it suits them and all content is optional. Onsite facilities for mums with babies and young children include toys in the workshop rooms and feeding and changing facilities.

“This event was born out of my own experiences of being unable to return to my city career after my maternity leave back in 2014. Lucy and I are mums ourselves. We work from home organising these exhibitions and are in the same position as many of the attendees; we totally understand what they need which is why these shows exist.
Our mission is to help change the work and business lives of mums for the better, forever, and we can’t wait to welcome everybody to this very special event in Brighton which looks set to put us on the map. We are on our very own mission to the moon and can’t wait to take thousands of mums with us.”
