Financial inclusion-based startup Humaniq has started working with UK consulting firm Deloitte.

As part of the new agreement, Deloitte will manage the IP and legal areas of the Humaniq business and the company’s growth.

Co-founder Dmitry Kaminskiy said: "We are proud to be working with Deloitte as we look to expand the service we offer and edge closer to delivering on our aims of financial inclusion.

“Deloitte are a world-renowned business with a vast array of experience, so we look forward to a long a fruitful relationship.”

Humaniq’s Blockchain-Ethereum platform aims to tackle barriers to economic inclusion through technology, and will enable users to access banking using simple biometric technology such as face-recognition.

Mr Kaminskiy added: “Our aim is to reach the two billion unbanked people across the world, and we hope that Deloitte will help us with this.”
