Fat Freezing Helps Nurses Earn Side Revenue and Helps people lose fat!
96% drop in EU nurses registering to work in Britain since Brexit vote.
More midwives and nurses are leaving the profession in the UK than joining for the first time on record, with the number departing having risen by 51% in just four years. The figures, which will add to concerns about NHS staff shortages, show that 20% more people left the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) register than joined it in 2016/17. The overall number of leavers was 34,941, compared with 23,087 in 2012/13.
Unions say there is a shortage of 40,000 nurses and 3,500 midwives in England alone and they, and NHS trusts blamed the pay cap and workplace pressures. Almost a third of Britain's nurses have a second job, according to research published The public service union Unison found that many are taking on extra hours with agencies to make up for their low salaries.
“Clearly, an action is needed to offset any further loss of EU nursing staff in the near future. But the overall shortage of 30,000 nurses is not a shortage caused by the Brexit vote. The chronic shortage of nurses is the result of years of short-term planning and cuts to training places. Lokkima's Fat Freezing machine uses a technique known as cryogenic lipolysis — fat freezing, or “controlled cooling” — to eliminate fat cells without the risk and time out of work required by surgery. During the treatment, clients recline while a clinician, often nurses in their spare time, affixes a plastic suction cup — sort of like an upholstery attachment to a vacuum cleaner — to the targeted area. The cup — its size and shape vary, depending on the part of the body being treated — is attached by a hose to a machine that hums as it sucks the tissue into the cup and cools it.
Treatment lasts 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the targeted area. The effects are seen over a period of weeks after treatment, as the body eliminates the dead fat cells.
It can take two to four months to see full results.
Lokkima sells its machines and a set of attachments for about £15000. Lokkima says it performed nearly 40 000 treatment cycles on about 25 000 clients and had more than 47 machines installed worldwide since 2012. Treatments go from £200 to £800 a session. For the average nurse, It would take an average of three clients a week receiving one treatment at £350 for a year, to get a “total revenue" of £54,600, where the average salary for a nurse in the UK is between £21,000 to £37,500.
