Showcase Supplies Europe’s Tallest Indoor LED Mesh Screen at Audi West London
In addition to supplying the Audi West London car showroom with new furniture for all 4 levels of the building including Workshop, Café, Car Sales, Interior Specification and Handover areas Showcase were thrilled to be awarded the AV contract to design, supply and install a permanent LED mesh column that spans the entire height of the building at this flagship site.
The brief given to Showcase’s new AV department Showcase AVi, composed by the Sytner Group, was to design a technical solution to be located in the middle of the building that would become the heartbeat of the showroom. The central column incorporates a dramatic lighting effect that will display the brand’s colours - a glow that will can be seen from all areas of the building and at night time outside on the M4.
Showcase AVi worked with the Sytner Group to further develop the initial brief; the final technology that Showcase supplied was a 19m high by 6m wide LED column. The mesh panels are SMD 15mm pixel pitch and run an intelligent multi-function operating system to the screen to display content on any part of the wall, the screen has multiple inputs and content can be directed through the LED panels, therefore allowing more than one stream of content to be played out at any given time across the different floors.
