Enchanted Garden Fashion event
London’s enchanted world is coming out to play. Lying juxtaposed in the midst of modernity and historical eccentricity, London lives & breathes like a symphony. The joining of more than 500 years of contrasting, magical components creating a unique cohesion of beauty, art, culture, creativity & even engineering. The myths, legends and history that are held in the city’s streets and buildings inspire artists from all over the world to create magic. On the 29th of May 2016, DI Events will be opening the doors to the Enchanted Garden for a Fashion Extravaganza and Masquerade ball at Home House, Portman Square, London.
The interactive fashion show features designer Linda Blissett’s new couture collection recently shown at London and Paris Fashion weeks. Linda’s designs are inspired by the bold colours and flamboyance of the art from the Pre Raphaelite era. Dresses feature an intricate architecture of modern and traditional fabrics woven into eclectic art to turn any event into a modern day Fairy-Tale. Jayne Elizabeth Millinery will be showcasing a unique collection of couture hats and head pieces, bespoke millinery creations ranging from traditional to eccentric pieces of contemporary art. We are also very privileged to have Los Angeles based celebrity jewellery designer Marianna Harutunian in the line up, with a celebrity client base including Lady GaGa and Madonna. Quirky accessories designer Metamorph will be showing pieces from their latest collection.
The Home House décor will be furnished with exotic plants provided by The Kew Gardener which bring the Enchanted Garden into bloom. A digital display of Art Nouveau and Pre-Raphaelite inspired paintings by Kavita-Priya Mohan will provide the backdrop for the interactive fashion show and live entertainment. Live shows will include performances by Dimona from Tarnished Wonder, who will be pushing the limits of flow arts with light toys, leaving ethereal images in mid air. Internationally acclaimed Opera singer Rebecca Mae and Astra Jameson with her band will captivate the audience with music.
For one night only a Mid-Spring night of enchantment and fantasy welcomes you to come in and join the party
