New London burger restaurant the London Burger Co is looking to take out the stress of Christmas lunch this year, not just in the kitchen, but in the stomach area too by serving a whopping 6 oz burgers.
Not any old fast food burgers but meat from grass-fed cows and free-range chicken. The size, the taste and lower fat content satiates you without feeling guilty.
Founder Rubait explains, ‘The restaurant was created with the goal of serving food I would feed my children and my Personal Trainer, wife would approve of. This is why a lot of our food is made in-house’.
The result is a whole menu of burgers, with the focus on reduced fat and increased protein. Which means, as Rubait points out that, ‘even those with the healthiest appetite have yet to eat the equivalent of a single Christmas lunch…..over fifteen burgers.’
