Doing well and doing good: firms partner to support healthy business practice
Occupational health specialists Cavell & Lind have entered into a 'Memorandum of Understanding' with Human Capital Department, in a partnership focused on improving health outcomes, people management and development services for all their clients.
Both companies offer a range of services supporting various physical and mental health outcomes, although they have different areas of expertise. Cavell & Lind are specialists in occupational health services, keeping people healthy and safe at work, while Human Capital Department offer consultancy services in people management and development, encouraging firms to adopt HR practices that support a healthy workforce.
The partnership between the two companies puts them in an excellent position to tackle a number of ambitious goals: improving the well-being of employees, boosting profitability and aiming to champion the cause of sustainable, ethical business.
Peter Lawrence, Director of Human Capital Department, issued the following statement on the benefits of the partnership: “Sometimes employers contact us needing advice relating to a problem employee – for example, the employee may be off work, and medical prognosis is needed. We can now refer quickly to Cavell & Lind as the Occupational Health Specialist, for advice and support. On the other hand, clients may have recurring employee issues, indicating deficiencies in people management processes and systems. The companies recently signed a comprehensive 'Memorandum of Understanding', which formally marked their new partnership.
