Conflict resolution firm shortlisted in growth accelerator award
A Leeds-based conflict resolution firm has been shortlisted in an award organised by the world’s largest growth accelerator programme.
Darren Good, founder of GoodSense Training, has been named alongside five other businesses in the GoDo Acceler8 Award, as part of Entrepreneurial Spark’s GoDo Ent Awards.
The awards seek to recognise companies that have demonstrated significant business growth and a commitment to continual learning and development. The award winner, who will be announced at an evening ceremony at the Leeds Entrepreneurial Spark offices on 18th January 2017, will receive a cash prize of £4000 to support further business growth.
Darren has also been shortlisted in a pitching award, worth a further £1000, which will require him to conduct a live one-minute pitch on the night.
GoodSense is a leader in conflict management training for both the public and private sectors. Having formed in 2004, the company has grown significantly in the last four years, expanding its clientbase to include organisations nationwide.
The Entrepreneurial Spark accelerator programme, funded by NatWest, KPMG and Dell EMC, supports scale-up businesses with high growth potential, following successful entrepreneurs and their journey over 6-12 months.
GoodSense recently picked up other awards with Entrepreneurial Spark, including Entrepreneurial Development Manager’s choice award, for supporting business peers and demonstrating significant business growth.
Darren comments:
“We are delighted to have been recognised for our hard work over the last six months and it is an amazing achievement to be shortlisted among so many other worthy businesses. The company has experienced substantial growth since we joined the Entrepreneurial Spark programme and we’re looking forward to celebrating our achievements on the night.”
