CanapéBox

Catering buyers get together for Mayfair event

13 June 2017 11:01

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Leading e-commerce canapé catering company, CanapéBox, celebrated numerous achievements at Mayfair based art gallery, Messums Fine Art, earlier this month.

Clients, suppliers and food critics flocked to the event on the 1st of June, to congratulate the CanapéBox team on recent accomplishments. Amongst the accolades celebrated were 5 years in the business, receiving a nationally recognised business award in e-commerce, and the launch of new canapé creations, in line with the first day of the summer season.

Christopher Messum, who owns Buckinghamshire based CanapéBox, held the event to extend warm wishes and thanks to his ever-loyal suppliers and clients. Located in High Wycombe, CanapéBox provide exquisite food at affordable prices backed up with unrivalled quality of service. They believe in the importance of responsibly-sourced quality ingredients, and with the popularity of Christopher’s simple online ordering and delivery service, this catering company are well on the way to developing a ‘one stop party shop’ concept. Yesterday’s canapé tasting event gave Christopher the opportunity to thank both his suppliers and clients for their ongoing support in developing this venture.

Guests enjoyed a variety of delicacies from the vast existing selection of canapés, alongside new taste creations inspired by the summer palate – including a smoked mackerel pate, pea blini, asparagus and pea cress and a Soy bean frittata, with spring radish, pea, mint, and preserved lemon. Sweet offerings were also available, with a salted caramel and ginger shortbread, with chocolate ganache and fresh mint. CanapéBox also produce a selection of dietary tailored recipes, which include vegetarian, vegan and dairy free options.

Glasses of Skinny Fizz and Pompita sangria were passed around amongst the delighted guests, providing much needed refreshments for inner city London on one of the hottest evenings of the year. The creative works of Kurt Jackson complimented the array of canapé flavours available on the evening.

Christopher Messum was delighted with the success of the event, “It’s a real pleasure to be able to thank those who have supported CanapéBox over the years, and to build upon the professional relationships we have with both suppliers and clients. It’s also been beneficial to hear feedback in regard to the summer canapé flavours, and I couldn’t be happier with how well this evening turned out. With our one stop party shop concept coming into fruition, and regular events such as the one we had this evening, myself and the team are looking to the future.”
