Cascade Studio Scoops Hat-Trick in London Design Awards 2016 Including Best Small Studio
Cascade Studio, a London based creative design agency, scooped a hat-trick of awards in the London Design Awards 2016 organised by the design100 including the Best Small Studio in London award.
Unique to the Awards, each award is shared between the commissioner and the designer; recognising that relationships and collaboration are at the heart of the design industry. Something that Cascade is particularly proud of because it places positive, friendly partnerships at the heart of all its client projects, seeking to understand what the client wants to achieve and being creative in how this can be done within budget.

Cascade Studio won Silver in the Digital Corporate category for its work on the Rapport Global website (www.rapportww.com) which is being rolled out across Rapport's rapidly expanding network of worldwide offices. "I would highly recommend Cascade if you’re considering designing a website. They took the time to understand our business, our positioning and our needs," said Paul Sambrook, Business Development and Marketing Director at Rapport. "Their design ideas were spot-on against the brief – but they also pushed our creative boundaries (in a good way). They were pleasant to deal with, efficient and with good technical knowledge – which meant that what could have been an arduous task was actually made very simple for me. In addition to the website design, they also created an e-mail template to mirror the new look of the website. Again, the design work was excellent and was completely on point. We are very happy!”
Cascade also won Gold in the Digital Business Operations category for the Westminster Business Council (WBC) brand and website (www.westminsterbc.org.uk) which had a dramatic impact upon the client's business. Results included: A 12% increase in paid for memberships and over 170 new SME member registrations within the first few months of launch, newsletter subscribers going up by 62% and an increase in event attendance and bookings. More importantly, staff administration requirements drastically reduced allowing WBC to focus its efforts on connecting members and helping them to grow their businesses, something that is so important in these uncertain economic times.
