11 December 2015 13:15

The USA Hawks and Canadian Wolverines go into battle tomorrow (Saturday 12th) with the victors qualifying for the Rugby League World Cup. The final game of the Americas series will be broadcast at 8pm GMT (3pm EST in America) and you can get your ticket to watch the match streamed live on Ginicam at

This is the culmination of matches between the USA, Canada and Jamaica, who have played hard fought games, to decide who will represent the Americas at the Rugby League World Cup in Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea in 2017.

This is the first time a series of RLWC pool matches have been broadcast live globally. The Rugby League International Federation chose Ginicam to live stream the Americas Group games after successful broadcasts of European Championship games.

Danny Kazandjian the General Manager of the Rugby League European Federation said, “Using Ginicam we can reach a global audience and ensure the revenue generated goes directly back into Rugby League. This helps us take the game to a wider audience”.
